'Tis the Season.

We got ourselves some culture this morning and headed over to The Aurora Theater with the Lockharts to catch a little "Twas the Night Before Chrismas," puppet show style.

And that's really about all I have to say regarding that experience.  The kids loved it.  The adults were thankful we purchased tickets from Half-Off Depot with an additional half-off coupon. :)

In all seriousness, it was fun.  Just a little cheesy.

After the show, we headed over to the courthouse to check out the decorations before heading inside to meet Santa.

Harris and Hadley loved spending time with Santa.  Emmy, not so much.

She survived, though, and we scooped her out of Santa's lap so the biggies could have a turn sharing their wish lists.  Harris asked for a "real R2D2 robot."  I was grateful that Santa explained there is really only one R2D2, but he'd be glad to bring a toy version.  Babe requested "a horse, a princess, and a castle."

I'm pretty sure they were talking princesses in this next shot:

We finsished the morning with crafts at the courthouse before heading out to lunch with Granti, Cody, Sam, and Auntie.

Not a bad Saturday if you ask me.
